Every torque spec, in the units you actually use

The whole project started because I could not read a torque figure on a phone under a car. So of all the pages we have built, this is the one I take personally.

Every manual now has a torque page. It gathers every tightening spec in one place, grouped by section, and flips each one between the units your wrench actually speaks.

Nm kg-m ft-lb
54 to 64 5.5 to 6.5 40 to 47

Getting it reliable took a few passes. Specs hide in odd places, and every maker writes them differently. Nissan, Mazda, Subaru and BMW each have their own notation, so the page learned to spot a torque value by its units rather than by the word “torque”. The payoff is that specs which used to be silently dropped now show up, and mixed rows convert without leaving blanks.

It is the page I wanted that first weekend under the S13. Try it: s13.sucatisse.com/torque.
